Day 89 - Temple of Heaven

Today is my last free day here in Beijing. Since i’m free I decided to go check out one more last place I haven’t been yet, the Temple of Heaven. Before heading out today though, I decided to grab a couple of new books for my Audible library. I got three new ones that I’ll be starting soon. First one is The Four Agreements, heard of this a couple of days ago from Dillon, and last night Turpin also recommended it to be. Some great stuff & glad I took a bunch of notes on my way down to the Temple.

I decided it was time to make another mini insta-video. Haven’t done one of these since...June. That was so long ago!! Way too long ago, I should have made more. Guess my mind has been in a bit of a strange place lately. Probably should have worn a smoke mask today. It was so smoggy the entire day, which made for a more diffused look to the entire scene. Took a bunch of photos and videos of the entire area before decided to call it for the day.

Before heading back to the campus though, I wanted to check out the Pearl Market. After walking around the first floor for a bit, I just so happened to find someone selling lenses. I didn’t see the Sony Lens I wanted, but they did have Tamron’s 28-75. Decided to go for it. After purchasing it, I  immediately went back upstairs to the roof to test it out. As I was snapping a few images, two guys came out onto the roof as well. Turns out they’re from Austria and were doing business in China. We talked a bit in Deutsch before they headed back downstairs & I headed back to the campus to work on my video and check out the photos.
