Day 70 - Out for a Walk

I woke up today & wasn’t feeling too hot. Got a serious head cold going & the congestion was real this morning. Even while waking up at 5:30 am, I stayed in bed till almost 9. I simply didn’t have the energy or focus to do anything. All I felt was dehydrated & a serious pressure on my head. Later in the morning though, Brad texted me about us going for a walk this afternoon. We decided to check out a huge park close to the campus.

Right after lunch, and quickly packing up we were off to Yuanmingyuan Park. Took us a couple of hours to get through it, but was nice to be in a beautiful area and away from city noise for a while. Following the long walk, we headed to Wudoukou for dinner to round out the night. Before heading back to the train, Brad came up with this idea for a photo right in the middle of the street. He noticed that tons of people would just stand in the middle while the traffic was going & thought it would make for a cool shot. He was correct! Although I wasn’t the best with the focus, still hyped on the look of it. Really need to get better at my focus for long exposures.
