Day 54 - Off to Beijing
Final morning in Bali with Sabine. Although the holiday didn’t feel long enough, still so grateful for the time we did have. Following another hotel breakfast, we left for Kuta.
Sadly had to say goodbye to the 85mm lens, then headed straight to Sabine’s hotel. After getting her settled in we still had a bit of time to roam around the area. First stopping by the Ground Zero Memorial from the October 12, 2002. After paying our respects, we headed out to the beach and in search for some lunch. Before we realized it was time to leave. Thankfully getting a bit more time with Sabine insisting on helping me with my luggage and came to the airport with me. Think she’s a keeper. Thinking back on this trip there were so many amazing moments. I really wouldn’t mind coming back, and next time bringing more of the family to enjoy it as well.
Although sad to be leaving, I was pretty excited to try out Thai Airways business class. When we were booking this trip a month ago, they didn’t have any economy seats left, but instead a pretty great deal for business class. Booked it with 45,000 United Miles & off I went. Quick pit stop in Bangkok. Got this photo while walking towards my last flight to Beijing.
