Day 35 - Timelapse at the Lake

Throughout this photo journey, it’s been interesting to notice how some days I’m bubbling up with excitement and other days I need to give myself a little push. Today was a bit of a push, but seeing a bit of sun on the lake has always been good motivation so far. While I’ve already been down to the lake a handful of times for photos, this time I wanted to try something different. Instead of just shooting the lake as-is. I wanted to try out long shutter photos with my variable ND filter. Usually I’ve only been trying long exposures at night, while this is a rarity for me to try during the day. Even with my filter at almost 8 stops, it took awhile to get figured out. After a few tries though, I’m hyped at the results of this one!
