Day 29 - #thatwankatree

Had one of those mornings when I was up and ready to go even before the sun was up. Looked like the morning might be good so decided to head out after coffee and check out the Wanaka Tree. I’ve heard that this hasn’t been the best snow year here, but for me this was my first time seeing the tree without water around it. While the classic water around the base makes this tree so memorable, having no water around it made the composition a bit more unique than my last visit. 

During the evening, I realized I was a bit short of my daily quota. Thankfully though it was boxing night at Brad‘s place. With night rolling in, I tried to get some photos looking into the garage from darkened driveway.
