Day 23 - Overnight in Auckland

As the travel day continues, I landed in Auckland but got a bit held up in customs and had to miss my first flight to Queenstown. After getting switched to the last flight of the night, I was a bit bummed but thought it would be fine. Only slightly delayed by a couple of hours. After making our way onto the flight, we heard in the tarmac that the winds heavily increased in the south island. Still taking off and as we got close to Queenstown, and did not descend. Our Captain came onto the speaker informing us that the winds got so bad that we could not continue.

Since we got turned around, we had to stay in Auckland for the night. With everything booked out around the airport & my next flight, not till the following evening, I decided to spend the night in downtown. On a more photographic note, starting to try more photos with a higher ISO. Realizing very quickly that my current camera body does have limits when it comes to grain.
