Day 98 - Back to Jumps & Three Wonderful Years

Today was a good day, but for a more personal reason. Today marked three full years of my relationship with Sabine. While I’m sad we are not able to celebrate together, I’m still very grateful for our relationship and everything we’ve been through.

On the slopes we had a great time skiing started off by a couple of big laps with the kids before heading back to the baby slope to work on a few more techniques. Today’s fun move was one-footed skiing. The rest of the morning was spent working on one-footing down the baby slope & even linking up with the slope team to do some gates before heading to lunch. One of the little highlights was having our team Physical Therapist Big Bear skiing for his first time ever and crushing it!

As we arrived at lunch, the park crew informed us that they had built a couple of small jumps. This made our planning much easier for the afternoon. We hiked up to the trail shortly after lunch to find the jumps midway up the slope. Although not what we expected at first, after almost two months of not hitting jumps they were perfect. Spent the rest of the afternoon with the kids hiking and having a great time working on some 360s & 540s.

This entire afternoon Sabine had really been on my mind. When I arrived back at the hotel I was able to sit back and start really thinking about the past few years and how much has changed. Three amazing years so far & looking forward to what the future holds.
