Day 32 - Astro Photography; Take 1

During the morning, I was hoping to get more photos on the mountain but ended up putting away the camera earlier than expected. By the the time evening rolled around, I realized I had barely taken any photos. Thankfully for tonight we had some clear skies up in Wanaka, so I decided to give Astro Photography a try. While Brad has done a bunch of Astro in the past few months, this was my first time really trying it out with my camera. In the past, I’ve tried but never got results that I was hoping for. This night was the first time I’ve ever been able to even get the Milky Way in the shot. Still needing to fix the focus a bit more along with lowering my ISO a bit, but fun to at least try it out while I’m in an area with minimal light pollution.
