Day 86 - Free Afternoon

Today was a pretty typical work day, with the exception that it was our PT’s last day before heading home on a quick trip. I’ve now been in Beijing for a month and looks like we’ll be heading out for a new mountain next week.

This afternoon Brad and I were free, so we went out to with the sole intention of me to buy a new lens. After finding a store that had the lens I wanted though, I found out very quickly how merchants here don’t take international credit cards. Tried a couple and got turned out each time so hard. Very unfortunate as I was fully down to buy a new lens. Guess I’ll have to try again later.

As it was Austin’s last evening, we all decided to go back out again to Wudaokou for the evening. Been here a lot in the past week, but I’m enjoying each time we get to have some pizza. While I’m excited that we’ll be leaving for a new location, one part of being in Beijing that I’ll miss is the night photography. So many opportunities for photos here & is always interesting to capture new things.
