Winter Dew Tour - Semi-Final's

Today was the semi-final day for Men’s skiing slopestyle. Starting the day off earlier than usual for the 8:00 AM start of practice, we were graced with sun and very calm conditions. Following a successful practice for the majority of the field, it was go time.

Beautiful sunrise this morning at Breck!

Unfortunately once the contest started, the clouds fully rolled in creating very flat-light conditions. This affected the speed greatly for all of us competing immensely. My first run had me flying to the bottom of the first jump, along with many other competitors who were going too fast on the first couple jumps.

By the second run, everyone was more aware of the speed change and started to land more runs. I had a mess up on my last rail, which put me in 19th place going into the Last Chance Qualifiers.

I was able to put one solid run down in LCQ, although I unfortunately got bumped out. Really bummed to not be in finals for Sunday, but just glad no one got hurt with how flat light the course was. Big congrats to James Woodsy, Jossi Wells, and Bobby Brown for grabbing the top spots of the day. Looking forward to seeing everyone crush it on Sunday for finals.
